English has peculiar spellings, unhelpful to people trying to learn it, as so many overseas must do these days in order to telemarket to us, to be considerate to their foreign feelings we ought to think about rationalizing to metric English, which is already available, it's the pronounciation keys in the dictionaries. Imagine a language where a pronouciation key is not needed. Looking at some keys, seems nearly every vowel has some sort of caret, umlaut, or cone over it, what a pain, I withdraw the petition. You say Dunkin' Donuts and I say Dunking Dough Nuts.
